Compression moulding is used for producing various moulded articles as well as test and small series. Compression moulding can also be applied for producing rubber-metal products.

HTV quality or hot vulcanized silicone rubber is used in the compression moulding press.  Special silicone rubber materials are used for conditions requiring resistance to fire, chemicals or oil.

Production moulds are made of steel and can durable thousands of strokes. Only the moulds of test products can be made of aluminium as the working life of these moulds is short.
